My name is Brennan and I'm 8 years old. I play for a couple different Newcastle Stars teams in Newcastle Ontario. My favourite team is the Toronto Maple Leafs, and my favorite player is Frederik Andersen. Recently I had the opportunity to play in his net at Scotiabank Arena which has always been a dream of mine. I’ve been playing hockey since I was 4, and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. My older brother started before me, and I would sit and watch his games and practices and could not wait for my chance. Since the first day in mites I wanted to be a Goalie, they used to have to pull me out of the nets.

Where did you first hear about Oneiric and their Base Layer's?
My dad, Dave searched for a long time to find a base layer for me that was both comfortable and protective. We found that not much existed that was in youth sizes that was actually made for a goalie not a player, till we heard of Oneiric on a Facebook group and their Genesis Base Layer.

What has your experience been like using the product so far?
I absolutely love both my Genesis and Soteria Base Layer. I like to get into the plays and challenge shooters so the extra protection has been amazing. It has definitely saved me a few injuries. I play for and help out a few teams so sometimes I’ll have 2 or 3 games in a day, so I'm basically living in my Oneiric gear between arenas and games. It’s comfortable, keeps me dry and warm, and on top of that it looks great!

What are your favourite features and why?
My favourite features on both Genesis and Soteria are the cut protection and padding, and the way it keeps me dry and wicks sweat away. And the rubber on the knees of the Genesis keeps my knee/thigh guards in place! This has been amazing, no more tape! And the overall comfort is just awesome.

How do Oneiric Base Layers compare to other base layers that you've tried?
I don’t think there is much out that can compare to my base layer, and nothing in my size. I have had some name brand base layers before my Oneiric ones that didn’t offer this level of protection plus they didn’t take the wear and tear of goalie life and hold up like my base layer does.
