Carsten Raack is 10 years old and finishing up his 2^nd year as a Squirt (10U). He plays for the Ice Bears in Oak Park, Illinois. When Carsten was 4, we were looking for a winter activity and hockey came up. We took him to the local rink to be outfitted with gear, and once everything went on he decided he was a hockey player. He has been playing for six years now, and plays every position on the ice (forward, defense, goalie). He continues to train at every position, as it is his goal to play any position on the ice at a high and consistent level.

Where did you first hear about the Oneiric and what intrigued you to buy the Genesis Base Layer?
We found Oneiric through a Google search! As Carsten started to play more and more goalie, we needed to outfit him properly for his games. His Genesis Base Layer pants were a good fit for the equipment we were looking for.

What has your experience been like using the Genesis Base Layer so far?
Carsten likes the pants very much. They have a comfortable fit and keep him cool underneath all of his pads. Carsten likes the breathability of the Genesis Base Layer pants. He likes that they have cut-resistant material at the ankles, too, for added safety. The mesh paneling helps keep him cool underneath the goalie pads.

How does the base layer compare to previous base layers you have used? 
Oneiric is a very competitive product. An advantage is its affordability and comparable quality to other major-name brands. The product is lightweight and has proven very durable so far.
