Aiden is nine years old and plays for the Merritt Minor Hockey team in Merritt, BC. During the Spring season he plays for the Kamloops Cowboys.

Aiden “watched” his first hockey game when he was two weeks old. He spent many hours in the arena while his older brother practiced / played games, as well as watching the Junior A Hockey Team, The Merritt Centennials. Aiden, like many hockey siblings soon mastered the skill of playing mini-sticks in hotel hallways and his bedroom with his big brother and when he was just four he started his “hockey career” with the pre-school league. Aiden loves the game and would be on the ice 7-days a week, given the opportunity. Aiden extends his season by playing high-level Spring Hockey.  



Where did you first hear about the Oneiric's Genesis Base Layer and what intrigued you to buy it?
I, his mother, saw the product on CBC's Dragons' Den and that was that! What a brilliant idea!

What has your experience been like using Origin so far?
Aiden has no complaints in regards to his Origin Base Layer.  He loves it!  And so do I... the faster one can get home after a practice, the better!  

What are your favourite features of the Origin Base Layer and why?
The simplicity and efficiency. There is nothing more annoying than having to tape used-up Velcro straps on shin pads.  Also, for someone like Aiden, who is tall and lean, it’s often difficult to find shin guards with short enough straps, leaving him with pads that used to shift around or come undone.

How do you think Oneiric compares to other base layer products?
The extra protection offered is what makes it so valuable.  As for manufacturing, this is a high quality product which has survived at the hands of an energetic 9-year old!
